will be installed as directed by the City in accordance with <br /> and subject to standards and specifications prescribed by the <br /> National Fire Protection Association and American Insurance <br /> Association. The pedestal-mounted emergency reporting tele- <br /> phone system call boxes shall be installed on pedestals located, <br /> pursuant to the direction of City, substantially in accordance <br /> with Attachment "B", attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> Whenever possible no aerial wiring associated with <br /> outdoor emergency reporting telephone stations shall be <br /> attached to, pass over, or be supported by adjacent or adjoin- <br /> ing buildings; nor shall any drop to an emergency reporting <br /> station be stretched over or attached to any building, sign, <br /> etc. enroute from a cable terminal to the emergency reporting <br /> i station; nor shall a drop from a buried cable to a pedestal <br /> box pass through a building or originate at a terminal within <br /> or on any building unless specific written permission is given <br /> by the Chief of the Fire Department. <br /> The City shall furnish a continuous supply of AC Power <br /> for the console and common equipment at the Fire Headquarters, <br /> and also a supply of AC Power as required at outlying fire <br /> stations . The Company will provide, at the rate specified in <br /> Attachment "A" , adequate standby power supply for the cc:-:sole <br /> and common equipment at the Fire Headquarters, the same to be <br /> energized automatically when and if there is any interruption <br /> to the normal City supply of AC Power. This standby battery <br /> will be adequate to provide uninterrupted service for continuous <br /> pericds up to ten (10) hours. <br /> 2 - <br />
