RESOLUTI ON NO. /,10 9-'7 A RESOLUTION CREATING A NEW ACCOUNT FA1-430.0 "REPAIR" PARTS" WITHIN THE MAJOR CLASSIFICATION "MATERIALS" OF THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FA1 "MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY" AND TRANSFERRING $12,000.00 FROM ACCOUNT FAl-423 "EMULSION" , BOTH ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN THE SAME MAJOR CLASSIFICATION OF THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FA1 "MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY" OF THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary conditions , and WHEREAS, additional funds are needed for Account FA1-430.0 "Repair Parts" , to enable the Motor Vehicle Highway Department to properly perform its functions; and WHEREAS, a surplus exists in another account where it is not presently needed. This surplus is shown more specifically as follows , to- wit: $12,000.00 in Account FA1-423 "Emulsion" NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend: SECTION I . That a new Account FA1-430.0 "Repair Parts" be created in the Federal Assistance Grant Program FA1 "Motor Vehicle Highway". SECTION II. That the Account FA1-423.0 "Emulsion" be reduced by the amount of 12,000.00, and the like amount of $12,000.00 be appropriated and transferred to Account FA1-430.0 "Repair Parts" . SECTION III . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and its approval by the Mayor.
