RESOLUTION NO. `/ 7 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF <br /> AMENDATORY CONTRACT FOR NORTHEAST CODE ENFORCEMENT <br /> PROJECT, INDIANA E-3 <br /> WHEREAS, under the date of March 20, 1974, the Department of Hous- <br /> ing and Urban Development (HUD) allocated an additional $70,000.00 as a grant <br /> to assist in the financing of the subject Code Enforcement Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, $70,000.00 of this additional grant is for relocation grants, <br /> which is 100% (per cent) reimbursable by the Department of Housing and Urban <br /> Development; and <br /> WHEREAS, HUD has tendered to the City of South Bend, Indiana an <br /> Amendatory Contract identified as Indiana E-3 (AMT -3) to incorporate said <br /> additional grant into the original contract; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of <br /> South Bend, Indiana that said Amendatory Contract #3 is approved and the <br /> authority is given to the Mayor of the City of South Bend to execute said <br /> contract on behalf of the City of South Bend, Indiana and that the Executive <br /> Director of the Department of Redevelopment is hereby given authority to submit <br /> said contract of said City to HUD and to act as correspondent in all matters <br /> pertaining thereto. <br /> Member/Comron Council <br /> Member Common Council <br /> Member Common Council <br /> FILED IN CLERK'S OFFICE <br /> PRESENTED -1/ oZ .2- 7 <br /> NOT APPROVED APR 1 11974 <br /> ADOPTED y- .2 Irene Gammon <br /> CITY CLERK SOUTH BEND, IND. <br />
