Cost is $900.00/ year. Ernest Galos asked about Meow Mission. <br />Jenn Gobel indicated SBACC did food drive with Meow Mission and they recently <br />received grant to do more TNR. <br />Brief discussion regarding status of Dr. Covey still volunteering at shelter. <br />Dr. Culp asked if funds are in the budget to hire a veterinarian if necessary. Randy <br />Wilkerson indicated there are funds. <br />As a further agenda item rather than the usual hearing, Stephanie Steele <br />presented affidavits from Nancy Eide and Melissa Bialko regarding the case of Bella <br />the St. Bernard. She further presented a Stipulation between Ms. Bialko and the <br />Cityagreeing that Bella was a vicious animal per the Ordinance but also agreeing <br />that euthanasia wa inappropriate. The Commission members discussed the <br />information and granted the request and determined Bella to be a vicious animal <br />subject to the restrictions of the ordinance. The animal will not be euthanized. <br />Due to Dr. Culp's change of schedule a change was decided in the monthly <br />meeting days. The first Thursday of the month was chosen. The next meeting date <br />shall be March 2, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. The audience was asked if any person had any <br />questions. Bill Sykes asked if meetings would be open to the public. He was assured <br />that each monthly meeting is publicized and open to the public. Barb Leavell <br />moved for adjournment, Dr. Culp seconded and the motion carried 4 -0.
