//C_ <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION STATING COUNCIL'S INTENT TO <br />RECOGNIZE AN ORDINANCE REQUESTING APPROPRIATIONS <br />FOR THE EXPANSION OF AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL PARK. <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend and St. Joseph County <br />are desirous of expanding the Airport Industrial Park; and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to proceed with the construc- <br />tion of streets, utilities, and sewers; that $400.,.000 in additional <br />financing be obtained; and <br />WHEREAS, the County, because of bonding authority limita- <br />tions, is restricted from constructing streets, utilities, and <br />sewers within the corporate limits of this municipality; and <br />WHEREAS, City officials through negotiations with County <br />officials have agreed to provide these additional funds, subject <br />to Common Council approval; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Administration will present an appropri- <br />ation ordinance to the Common Council for approval for the purpose <br />of providing these additional funds. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Pend, that it will entertain an appropriation <br />ordinance from the City Administration requesting the appropriation <br />of funds to the Phase IV expansion of the Airport Industrial Park. <br />PRESENTED / o - a ' ') 4 <br />NOT APPROVED <br />AD-OPTED <br />i <br />M6mb er of th Commo Council <br />FILED IN CLERIC'S OFFICE <br />OF. 231974 <br />Irene Gammon <br />CITY CLERK, SOUTH BEND, IND. <br />
