BUILDING DEPARTMENT - SUB -STANDARD DIVISION <br />Comes now John Grabarz, Director of the Sub -Standard Division of the <br />Building Department, and requests a continuance on a hearing involving <br />property owned by Mrs. Sara 14ogers, located at 2124 W. Washington Avenue. <br />Case continued until January 22, 1962. <br />A hearing on sub -standard property commonly known as 1209 S. Lafayette <br />Boulevard and owned by Alexander Terlecki was also continued until April <br />161, 1962 at the request of Mr. Grabarz. <br />A hearing on property owned by Mr. Schrader and located at 914 Clover <br />Street was continued until March 199 1962 at the request of Mr. Grabarz. <br />A hearing on property owned by Sam and Bessie Harper, located at 225 S. <br />Camden Street was also continued until Monday, January 22, 1962. The <br />owners are appealing a condemnation order and the time allowed for such <br />postponement of demolition has now expired. <br />Mr. Grabarz also requested that a hearing involving Judge Lloyd Allen <br />and Harry Taylor, located at 1705 S. Jackson Street be continued uhtil <br />Monday, January 22, 1962. <br />Request granted and case will be heard on January 22, 1962. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT (STREET LIGHT) <br />Following a recommendation from Nicholas Horvath, Superintendent of the <br />Electrical Department, the following installation was approved: <br />1 - 4000 lumen street light at 821 W. Roosevelt Street. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />SPECIAL POLICE BOND <br />A Special Police Bond for Stanley V. Grayzck was accepted and ordered <br />placed on file. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT APPLICATIONS <br />The following applications for the Police Department were accepted and <br />ordered placed on file: Clarence J. Kaminski, Erle E, Henderson, Jr. <br />APPLICATIONS ( FIRE DEPARTMENT) <br />Applications for the Fire Department were accepted and ordered placed on <br />file: Frank S. Niespodziany, Jr., David M. Mezykowski <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 10:30 A.M. <br />Attest: Anthony J. Sabo, Clerk <br />
