and remain closed until repairs are completed. <br />The Board approved the clossing and ruled that such closing be done <br />immediately. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER ( FOUR-WAY STOP REQUEST) <br />Clem Hazinski, Traffic Engineer, reported that a Petition requesting <br />a four-way stop for the intersection of Blaine Avenue and Hymboldt <br />Street and at Blaine and Vassar intersection had been investigated <br />by his department. <br />After investigation, it is the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer <br />that a four-way stop be installed at Blaine and Vassar intersection <br />only. <br />Following the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer, the installation <br />was ordered made. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT ( STREET LIGHT) <br />Following the recommendation of Nicholas Horvath, Superintendent of <br />the Electrical Department, the Board approved the installation of the <br />following: <br />1 - 4000 lumen light at 1211 S. Columbia Court. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT ( SUB -STANDARD DIVISION HEARING) <br />Comes now._Charles Hensley, 401 N. Francis Street, owner of this property <br />to protest a demolition order for said property. <br />The Owner contends that he wishes to save house and will comply with <br />orders to bring property up to standard. <br />After hearing Mr. Hensley and Mr. Grabarz, it was the decision of the <br />Board to continue this hearing until February 5, 1962 to allow the <br />owner to bring the property up to standard. He was further directed <br />that work will be started as soon as tenants are removed. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT APPLICATION <br />An application for the Fire Department from Richard Joseph Zmyslo <br />was accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT MONTHLY REPORT <br />A report for the month of September from the Police Department was <br />accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />A Street Light Outage Report was accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />was adjourned.at 11:00 A.M. <br />Cha' man <br />w <br />Attest: Anth6QAJ.
