a letter in which he stated that the dwelling which has been condemned <br />will be repaired. He also stated that within the next 60 days he will <br />attempt to rewire the house, install new plumbing and a new heating plant <br />and paneling on the inside of the house. <br />Case continued fintil January 2, 1962 in order to allow the above repairs to <br />be made. <br />Mr. Grabarz made a progress report on property owned by John Jerkins. <br />fiaid property is loced at '1147 N. Johnson Street and the Board requested <br />Mr. Grazarb and Bat. Chief Downes of the Fire Department to make inspections <br />bi-monthly to ascertain whether any work is being done. <br />Mr. Grabarz and Chief Downes reported that, up to now, no work has been <br />done on this property. <br />APPROVAL OF CIVIL DEFENSE MINUTES <br />Minutes of the meeting of Civil Defense of St. Joseph CountV,, held on <br />October 11, 1961 were accepted by the Board and ordered placed on file. <br />EOL.ICE DEPARTMENT APPLICATION <br />An application for the Police Department from David John Turner was accepted <br />and ordered placed on file. <br />_SPECIAL POLICE BONDS <br />Bonds for Special Police Robett S. Kizer and Fred F. Miller, employees <br />of Drewrys Limited U.S.A. Inc. were accepted, approved and ordered placed <br />on file. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT ( HOUSE MOVE) <br />Comes now The Building Commissioner and requests permission to move a house <br />from 1417 Elwood to 1317 King St. The house is owned by William Trobaugh, <br />the move to be made by Worden Brothers. No affidavits are needed. <br />Since all regulations are met, the Board grants permission for such a move. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeti <br />adjourned at 11:00 A.M. <br />Attest: AnN i'1,y J.
