With reference to property located at 232 E. Sample Street, Bernard <br />Donohue being the interested party, hearing was continued until October <br />2, 1961 at which time a report will be given. <br />Hearing on property located at 518 33rd Street was continued until <br />October 309 1961. Mrs. Kelly is the owner of this property. <br />An order to demolish a house located at 714 E. LaSalle Avenue, owned and <br />occupied by Mrs. Franchini was granted an extension to September 25, <br />1961. Mrs. Franchini is directed to move by this date and Mrs. Grabarz <br />and Battalion Chief Downes to move the occupants out of this dwelling <br />if they are not out by September 25, 1961. <br />Mr. Grabarz reported that Mrs. Jaworski of 612 S. Jackson Street was <br />requested to appear before the Board on this date. Since she failed <br />to appear, Mr. Grabarz was directed to send another letter to her. <br />Case continued until October 2, 1961. <br />Mr. Grabarz reported on a letter received from Attorney James Keating <br />�Iq concerning property located at 106 N. Niles Avenue. Mr. Grabarz requested <br />permission to demolish this structure. Permission granted to advertise <br />or bids for demolition. <br />SPECIAL POLICE BOND <br />Special Police Bond for Harry Swartz was approved and ordered placed on <br />file. <br />AUXILIARY SCHOOL PATROL ( APPLICATIONS). <br />Applications for Auxiliary Police were accepted from Patricia Ann Johnson <br />and Harriett T. P'alicki andc-ordered placed on file. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT ( STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS) <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placedcon'£ile. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT ( BUILDING CODE) <br />A copy of the new Building Code for the City of South Bend was accepted <br />and ordered placed on file. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 10:45 A.M. <br />Attest; AntkAY J.
