1 <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER REPORT (STOP SIGN HUEY & BULLA) <br />Clem Hazinski, Traffic Engineer submitted a report concerning the petition <br />filed with the Board for a stop sign installed at Bulla and one at Huey <br />Street. <br />Mr. Hazinski reported that after a study of the conditions in the areas <br />it was his recommendation that such signs be installed and also that a <br />Watch for Children sign be installed. <br />Following the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer, such installations <br />are approved by the Board. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER (TRAFFIC SIGNS INSTALLATIONS). <br />Following the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer, the following traffic <br />sign installations are approved: <br />Yield Right of Way signs installed on Ostemo Place, both sides, at Iroquois <br />Yield Right of Way signs installed on Kettering, both sides, at <br />Gordon Circle <br />Stop Sign installed on Marquette, southwest corner, at Lafayette <br />Stop sign installed on Parkovash, both sides, at Lafayette <br />Stop signs installed on Tonti, northeast corner, at Lafayette <br />Stop sign installed on Ostemo, southwest corner, at Lafayette <br />Stop,sign installe+d.on Wakewa, southwest corner, at Lafayette <br />"12 Minute Parking At This Meter - No Parking 3 P.M. to 6 P.M." signs <br />installed on meters #19 .and 21 on north side of 100 N. Main St. (these <br />are first two tasters east of Main Street.) <br />ELEC RICAL DEPARTMENT ( STREET LIGHTS) <br />Following the recommendation of the Electrical Deppartment, the following <br />street light installations were approved: <br />1 - 2500 lumen street- light at the rear of 620 Ohio St. <br />1 - 2500 lumen light at 1220 W. Thomas Street. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT MONTHLY REPORT <br />The Police Department Report for the month of June, 1961 was accepted and <br />ordered placed on file. <br />POLICE AUXILIARY SCHOOL PATROL APPLICATION <br />An application for Police Auxiliary School Patrol from Virginia Mae Martin <br />was accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT (APPLICATION) <br />An application for the Fire Department <br />and ordered placed on file. <br />from Donald Griffin Monroe was accepted <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER DIRECTIVE <br />The Traffic Engineer was directed to investigate Corby Street, beginning <br />at the 1400 Block for traffic control signs. Residents of this area have <br />complained to the Board that traffic is heavy and speed is excessive. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was <br />ad3ourned at 10:45 A.M. <br />C <br />Attests Anthony Sabo, Clerk <br />
