REQUEST: MCGANN SECURITIES= INC. (SIDEWALK PLANTERS) Comes now Al McGann of McGann Securities, Inc. and 'requests permission to install new sidewalks at 125 W. Colfax Avenue, which will house the Al McGann Securities, Inc. for the purpose of planting othrubs and/or flowers. Permission given, subject to the condition that the planters do not exceed the amount of space used by a tub as far as width is concerned. It is also specified that insurance, indemnifying the City of South Bend in the sum of $100,000 per individual injury or $3009000 aggragate and $25,000 property damage, be procured. The Board further directs that a back door which Mr. McGann wished to install as a safety exit feature be installed in keeping with the Building Code. BUILDING DEPARTMENT ( D. C. JAMESEN - RE: WRECKING STRUCTURE) D. C. Jamesen appeared before the Board to show cause why he is demolishing a structure at 1509 S. Michigan Street without the proper Wrecking Permit or insurance. Mr. Jameson who is a Wrecker was ordered by the Board to obtain the necessary Wrecking Permit and insurance before proceeding with the demolition of the structure referred to above. TRAFFIC SIGNALS (SIGNS) The Board, following the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer approved the following traffic signs installed: Stop Signs - Olive Street, both sides, at Hamilton St. Stop Signs - Bergan Street, both sides, at Olive St. Stop Signs - Chicago Street, both sides, at Huron St. Yield Right -of -Way Signs - Elmer Street, both sides, at Bergan St.
