With reference to the property at ,313'N.`Scott Street, owned by Damid <br />Oberg, a letter from Mr. Oberg was introducted to the Board. Mr. Oberg <br />stated his intention of bringing the property up to standard as soon as <br />he was finanically able to do so. <br />Mr. Grabarg was directed by the Board to communicate with Mr. Oberg and <br />request a definite date for said repairs. Hearing continued. <br />SPECIAL. POLICE BOND <br />Special Police Bond for Milton A. Gilbert was approved and ordered placed <br />on file. <br />BUILDING?:DEPARTMENT MONTHLY REPORT <br />A report for the month of January 1961 from the Building Department was <br />accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT REQUEST TO ADVERTISE (PASSENGER AUTOMOBILE) <br />Comes now Nicholas Horvath, Superintendent of the Electrical Department <br />and requests permission to advertise for the purchase of one passenger <br />automobile for the Electrical Department. <br />Permission of the Board is granted for such a purchase, conditioned upon <br />the fact that there is sufficient funds in the budget for such a purchase. <br />The Clerk of the Board is directed to place advertisements in The <br />South Bend Tribune and The Record on February 10 and February 17. <br />Bids will be opened at the meeting of the Board on February 20, 1961. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT APPLICATIONS <br />_T he following applications for the Fire Department were accepted and ordered <br />placed on file: Theodore Joseph `N ollmers, Richard M.
