BOND - OLIVER CORPORATION GUARDS A Public Employees Faithful Performance Blanket Position Bond covering the Guards employed by Oliver Corporation was approved by the Board and ordered placed on file. POLICE DEPARTMENT' AC(�IDENr REPORT A report from the Police Department concerning a minor accident on January 21, 1961 at Madison and Lafayette involving a Police motorcycle and a parked car was referred to the Board. Since this accident was caused by skidding on icy pavement and the City is liable, the Clerk of the Board to directed to follow through and ascertain that claim was filed with the City by the owner of the parked car. POLICE DEPARTMENT - REQUEST FOR PENSION (CARL F. WAECHTER) Officer Carl Waechter submitted an Officer's Report requesting that he be placed on retirementas of March 5, 1961 at which date he shall have served for 20 years on the Police Department. Officer Weachter further states that he was appointed to the Department on January 6, 1941, took two -months leave from the Department in 1946. This lost time will be made up as of March 5, 1961. He further states that he be._llowed to take Terminal Leave Vacation from March 6 1961 tp March 20, 1961. He requests that retirement become effective March 21, 1961 and that he be placed on pension list as of that date. Chief Dutrieux approves such retirement. The Board grants said request contingent on requirements. POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT A report for the month of December, accepted and ordered placed on file. 1960 from the Police Department was STREET LIGHT OUTAGE A Street Light Outage Report was accepted and ordered placed on file. BUILDING DEPARTMENT (SUB STANDARD DIVISION) Comes now Rev, E. L. Liggins, owner of property at 221-225 S. Kentucky Street to discuss with Board this sub -standard property.
