BOND - OLIVER CORPORATION GUARDS <br />A Public Employees Faithful Performance Blanket Position Bond covering the <br />Guards employed by Oliver Corporation was approved by the Board and ordered <br />placed on file. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT' AC(�IDENr REPORT <br />A report from the Police Department concerning a minor accident on January <br />21, 1961 at Madison and Lafayette involving a Police motorcycle and a <br />parked car was referred to the Board. Since this accident was caused by <br />skidding on icy pavement and the City is liable, the Clerk of the Board <br />to directed to follow through and ascertain that claim was filed with the <br />City by the owner of the parked car. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT - REQUEST FOR PENSION (CARL F. WAECHTER) <br />Officer Carl Waechter submitted an Officer's Report requesting that he be <br />placed on retirementas of March 5, 1961 at which date he shall have served <br />for 20 years on the Police Department. Officer Weachter further states that <br />he was appointed to the Department on January 6, 1941, took two -months leave <br />from the Department in 1946. This lost time will be made up as of March 5, <br />1961. He further states that he be._llowed to take Terminal Leave Vacation <br />from March 6 1961 tp March 20, 1961. He requests that retirement become <br />effective March 21, 1961 and that he be placed on pension list as of that <br />date. Chief Dutrieux approves such retirement. <br />The Board grants said request contingent on requirements. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />A report for the month of December, <br />accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />1960 from the Police Department was <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE <br />A Street Light Outage Report was accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT (SUB STANDARD DIVISION) <br />Comes now Rev, E. L. Liggins, owner of property at 221-225 S. Kentucky <br />Street to discuss with Board this sub -standard property. Hearing continued <br />until February 6, 1961. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 10:45 A.M. <br />Attest: Anth)yq J.
