Calgon Carbon Corporation has a variety of well -trained, specialized individuals suited to assist customers with a multitude of <br />water treatment requirements including process related performance testing or troubleshooting. A brief synopsis of the <br />technical expertise of several key individuals available to meet customer needs relevant to the proposed liquid phase project is <br />as follows: <br />Dr. Mick Greenbank - Senior Technical Consultant <br />Dr. Mick Greenbank received his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Kent State University in Ohio in 1980. He completed his <br />thesis on the Adsorption of Liquids on Activated Carbon, a project sponsored by Calgon Carbon. He joined Calgon Carbon in <br />1980 in the Research and Development Department. As Senior Technical Consultant at Calgon Carbon Corporation, Mick <br />travels around the world working with Calgon Carbon and our European Branch personnel as well as customers. <br />James Markowitz - Manager Manufacturing Engineering <br />As Manager of Manufacturing Engineering, Jim is responsible for equipment cost reduction measures, product improvements <br />and quality control for the Equipment & Assembly Plant and the Engineering Department. Jim has three equipment patents <br />and over 41 years of service with Calgon Carbon Corporation. <br />SALES AND ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL <br />Leo P. Zappa - Director of Sales, Municipal Business Unit <br />Leo Zappa manages Calgon Carbon's municipal business unit sales force. Leo has worked for Calgon Carbon Corporation for <br />25 years, holding positions in sales management, product management, marketing, and project management. He earned an <br />M.B.A. from Robert Morris University, a B.S. in civil engineering technology from the Pennsylvania State University, and an <br />Associates degree in architectural engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. Mr. Zappa is also a graduate of the <br />United States Army combat engineer school (Ft. Belvoir, VA). <br />Ralph Franco — Director of Product Management, Municipal Business Unit <br />Ralph has spent the last 25 years in the water treatment industry. He has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Penn State <br />University as well as an MBA from Point Park University. He is a licensed Environmental Engineer in the State of <br />Pennsylvania. He originally worked in the industrial water sector designing high purity ion exchange and reverse osmosis <br />systems primarily for the cogeneration and chemical processing sectors. He then transferred to a water treatment chemicals <br />industry. Ralph has also worked in the specialty membrane separations market and the municipal low pressure membrane <br />market as a product manager. Ralph joined Calgon Carbon Corporation's UV Technology Division ten years ago and now <br />serves as the Product Director of Calgon Carbon's Municipal Business Unit. <br />Michael Donaway — Account Manager <br />Michael Donaway is a Senior Technical Sales Representative for the Northeastern Region of the United States for the <br />Municipal Market. <br />Mark Peet — Account Manager <br />Mark Peet is a Senior Technical Sales Representative for the Southwestern Region of the United States for Municipal Sales <br />James Gray —Account Manager <br />Doug Conley is a Technical Sales Representative for the Midwest and Canadian Regions for the Municipal Market. <br />Amber Simonic — Account Manager <br />Amber is a Senior Technical Sales Representative for the Southeastern Region of the United States for the Municipal Market <br />Ben Goecke — Account Manager <br />Ben is a Senior Technical Sales Representative for the Western Region of the United States for the Municipal Market. <br />Kendra L. Ryan — Product Manager <br />Kendra L. Ryan is a Product Manager/Application Engineer with Calgon Carbon Corporation, currently providing activated <br />carbon applications and product management support to the Municipal Market. She is located at the Calgon Carbon <br />Corporation headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. Kendra has been with Calgon Carbon for approximately eight (8) years. She <br />received a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Youngstown State University in 2008. Prior to working at Calgon Carbon, <br />Kendra worked for Case Western Reserve University as an undergraduate research student working on proton exchange <br />membrane fuel cells, and also Flrellne/TCON Inc., an industrial ceramics manufacturer, as an engineering intern. <br />Eric Forrester —Applications Engineer <br />Eric Forrester is an Application Engineer with Calgon Carbon Corporation, currently providing activated carbon applications <br />support to the Municipal Market. <br />2 <br />
