i � nC rbon <br />KEY FIELD SERVICE, TECHNICAL SUPPORT, <br />AND <br />ACCOUNTS ASSISTANCE QUALIFICATIONS <br />Revision 11/2016 <br />FIELD SERVICES SUPPORT TO CUSTOMER OPERATIONS <br />Calgon Carbon Corporation maintains a Field Services Department responsible for providing carbon, equipment, and other <br />media installation or exchange as well as customer training, operating and start-up assistance to municipal drinking water <br />plants, municipal waste water authorities, and remediation, industrial, and food processing customers across the entire Calgon <br />Carbon products and services offerings. Calgon Carbon's Field Service Representatives and Managers are professionally <br />trained in the installation and operation of equipment used in ground and surface water purification and in vapor phase odor <br />control systems. Other Field Services' responsibilities Include transportation cc -ordination and scheduling, process related <br />performance testing or troubleshooting, equipment Inspection, cost estimation, and field supervision with contractor/vendor <br />selection as the need arises. Through continuous education and training, customer satisfaction and an excellent on -site safety <br />record are achieved. Field Service Managers are available for consultation or assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Key <br />individuals are: <br />William Henderson, P.E. — Field Services Manager, East Region and Product Manager for Reactivated Products, <br />Industrial and Food Process Business Unit <br />Bill joined Calgon Carbon in 2002. He has held a variety of roles over the time period. He is currently responsible for field <br />activities in the Eastern Region in all the industrial, municipal, food, and remedial markets. In these areas, his department <br />provides support in the installation, start-up, customer training, and trouble -shooting for all the carbon product lines, as well as <br />other product groups. His team also provides support on cost -estimation, transportation, and product development for all <br />market areas. Prior to joining Calgon Carbon, Bill spent 13 years in environmental engineering consulting, investigating <br />remediation sites as well as designing and installing remediation systems. As a Product Manager, Bill is responsible for all <br />industrial and custom food grade reactivated carbons. Bill is a licensed Chemical Engineer in the State of Pennsylvania and <br />holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from Purdue University, one in Chemical Engineering and the other in Chemistry. <br />Mark T. Bailey- Field Services Manager, West Region <br />Mark Bailey joined Calgon Carbon Corporation in 1997 as manager of the West Coast Field Services Department. Mark has <br />over 19 years of experience in environmental management, 12 of which was directly serving the activated carbon industry. He <br />is responsible for equipment and carbon installations, operations training and system maintenance for municipal water <br />treatment and odor control applications, as well as industrial and wastewater applications. Mark also provides estimates to the <br />bid coordination department at CCC Headquarters, and supports the regional sales people in providing customer service to the <br />West Coast. <br />II. TECHNICAL AND PROCESS SUPPORT PERSONNEL <br />Calgon Carbon Corporation maintains an Applications Engineering Department that can be utilized to consult with municipal <br />drinking and waste water customers regarding process or operational concerns on an on -going basis. They have extensive <br />experience with recommending carbon, equipment, and other media used in ground and surface water purification and in vapor <br />phase odor control systems. Application Engineers have primary responsibility for consulting with customers participating in <br />Calgon Carbon's service oriented business element and for assistance to our Sales Department in new and existing <br />applications of carbon technology. This consulting work may or may not be on a per diem or project basis, but is available to all <br />customers of Calgon Carbon Corporation. <br />
