Ms. Jennings stated she is therefore <br />requesting to advertise the sale of the property per I.C. 36-1-115. Upon a motion made by Ms. <br />Maradik, seconded by Mr. Mueller and carried, the above request was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS — ONE (1) OR <br />MORE, 2016 OR NEWER, 28 CUBIC YARD SINGLE ARM SIDE LOADING REFUSE <br />TRUCK— SPEC D (2017 SOLID WASTE CAPITAL LEASE PRINCIPAL & INTEREST) <br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Matt Chlebowski, Central Services, requested permission to <br />advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referenced equipment. Upon a motion made by Ms. <br />Maradik, seconded by Mr. Mueller and carried, the above request to advertise was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS — 2017'2018 <br />WATER TREATMENT CHEMICAL BID (VARIOUS OPERATIONAL BUDGETS) <br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. George King, Administration and Finance, requested <br />permission to advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referenced chemicals. Therefore, <br />upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Mr. Mueller and carved, the above request <br />was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS — LEEPER <br />PARK TENNIS COURT RE -COLORING (PARKS CAPITAL) <br />In a memorandum to the Board, John Martinez, Parks, requested permission to advertise for the <br />receipt of bids for the above referenced project. Therefore, upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, <br />seconded by Mr. Mueller and carried, the above request was approved <br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS — CITY-WIDE <br />CURBSIDE RECYCLING SERVICES (SOLID WASTE RECYCLING SERVICES) <br />In a memorandum to the Board, Ms. Therese Dorau, Sustainability, requested permission to <br />advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referenced project. Therefore, upon a motion made <br />by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Mr. Mueller and carried, the above request was approved. <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 05-2017 — A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC <br />WORKS ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY FROM THE SOUTH BEND <br />PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION CORPORATION AUTHORIZING A MEMBER TO <br />EXECUTE SUBDIVISION DOCUMENTS, L <br />PROPERTY TO THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION — LEIGIITON <br />PARKING GARAGE PROPERTY <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Mr. Mueller and carried, the following <br />Resolution was adopted by the Board of Public Works: <br />RESOLUTION NO.05-2017 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY FROM THE SOUTH <br />BEND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION CORPORATION, AUTHORIZING A MEMBER <br />TO EXECUTE SUBDIVISION DOCUMENTS, AND APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF <br />REAL PROPERTY TO THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana, Board of Public Works (the `Board") has <br />custody of real property owned by the City of South Bend, Indiana (the "City") pursuant to Ind. <br />Code 36-9-6-3; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms of a certain Lease between the Board and the South <br />Bend Public Transportation Corporation ("TRANSPO") dated November 15, 2000 (the "Lease), <br />TRANSPO conveyed to the City certain real property, commonly known as the Leighton Parking <br />Garage property and more particularly described in attached Exhibit A (the "Property"), by the <br />Corporate Quitclaim Deed dated January 25, 2017, and recorded on January 31, 2017, as <br />Document No. 1702510 in the Office of the Recorder of St. Joseph County (the "Deed"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Board desires to express its acceptance of the Deed conveying the <br />Property to the City under the terms of the Lease; and <br />
