[N <br />Applications for the Fire Department are hereby approved and placed on file for <br />John Kifowit. <br />Applications for the Police Department were examined and placed on file for Ralph <br />Florkowski. <br />A letter is hereby received from Sarah Rogers in regards to a condemnation order <br />issued to her and after study of said letter, the Board now directs the Building <br />Department to notify Sarah Rogers and arrange fora .hearing -before the Board of <br />Public Works & Safety next Monday, October 27, 1958 at 10:00 A.M. Comes now a <br />one Mr. William Farabaugh, Attorney on behalf of Victor and Marie Smet, 625 East <br />Farneman. Said Farabuagh's have been issued a condemnation order on a dwelling <br />at this location and Mr. Farabaugh at this time requests that no action be taken <br />on the matter and that presently the dwelling is inhabited. Further the building <br />will be striped to minimum code requirements and then will be sold. The Board now <br />directs the Building Commissioner to takenecessarysteps to see that the building <br />is not occupied duringthe time until this is done so therfor the request of Mr. <br />Farabaugh is accepted on these conditions. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, it was so announced'and <br />the meeting was adjourned at 10:45 A.M. <br />CHAIRMAN <br />ATTEST: ANT <br />, CLERK <br />October <br />27, 1958 <br />A regular meeting of the Board <br />of Public <br />Safety was held on Monday, October'271 <br />1958 at 10:00 A.M.
