The Bureau thruugh C.E.T.^,. is also involved with the C.E.T.A spon- <br />sored Summer Er p I oynu: n t Program. <br />The Bureau offers a Rent-A -Teen Program. There are.no eligibility require- <br />ments. The age range for this program is 13 to 18. South Lend residents call <br />the bureau with odd joins and the bureau provides a worker from the pool of youth <br />who signed up. <br />RECREATION - Usinq recreation as a therapy mode produces pnsitivc results <br />when working with young people. The Youth Servicc Menu has on active recrea- <br />tion component which involves a summer program, camp oxw rience, after- school <br />recreation, and Group Adventure Program. <br />The Summer Fun Program is designed for youth between the ages of six and <br />twelve, usually referred from the school program for a variety of behavior pro- <br />blems. The camp experience is offered for these youth who have improved their <br />behavior during the Summer Fun Program. The youth are usually between the ages <br />of seven and twelve. <br />After school recreation involves a small number of young people usually <br />between the acres of nine and twelve. The program is intensive and designed to <br />meet special needs of youth involved. <br />The Group Adventure Program <br />select group of youth ages 13 to <br />day experience.
