This is <br />federal money through the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare allocated <br />to individual states for distribution. <br />The Bureau intends <br />to contract to <br />provide <br />five areas of <br />•. <br />m <br />The Youth Service Bureau is seeking Council approval to submit an application to <br />the State Department of Social Services for funding in the amount of $21,666.67 <br />under Title XX of the Social Security Act of 1936 as amended. These funds would <br />help support one - to-one counseling services. <br />The general recreation program is our "Summer Flan Program" which will operate <br />at Kennedy, Memorial, Clay, LaSalle- Fillmore, Northeast and Southeast parks. <br />It is an eight week program, five days a week, for five hours daily. The <br />therapeutic recreation modality using the "new games" approach is utilized. <br />
