Walz, inc. <br />78.25 <br />Western Union Telegraph Co. <br />11.23 <br />Police Chief Dutrieux appeared before the Board requesting permission to attend <br />the Indiana Association of Police Chief's Convention to the held in Bloomington, <br />Indiana on June 19, 20, 21, and 229 1957. Permission granted. <br />This being the date set, hearing was held on charges against Officer Leonard <br />Brooks, Jr., 1711 Longley Avenue, South Bend, Indiana in violation of Rules <br />5, 159 and 20 of the Rules and Regulations of the South Bend Police Department. <br />Charges regarding same were filed in the office of the Board of Public Works & <br />Safety on June 13, 1957. Notice of said hearing to be held at 10:00 A.M. (DST) <br />on June 179 1957 before the Board of Public Works and Safety was served upon by <br />Leonard Brooks, Jr. personally and Sgt. Nicholas, #129 served the same on Leonard <br />Brooks, Jr. personally on the 13th day of June, 1957. <br />Leonard Brooks, Jr. having appeared before the Board of .Public Works and Safety <br />on this 17th day of June, 1957 admits that he is in violation of Rule #52 in <br />that he did not report for duty. <br />
