The Contractor will totally reprint by offset the entire volumes in our 11" x 14" size atlas per the existing volumes. 2. Scope of Services for New Mapping A. All new mapping will be in keeping with the existing black and white format per the enclosed legend, EXHIBIT "A ", indicating the features to be shown on the new mapping. This estimate will include developed areas to the city limits, excluding vacant land, parks, cemeteries, etc. B. The CITY will provide the CONTRACTOR with 2 copies of the tax map, preferably at 100' scale, or suitable mapping showing block and lot lines, tax block numbers, street configurations and street names. The CITY'S maps will be used as a base for the new map layout which will be converted to a scale of 100' to the inch. They will be mosaiced and totally redrafted in ink, showing only the block and lot outlines, tax block numbers, streets, and street names. On this new base the CONTRACTOR would superimpose all new improvements and items as specified in the legend, EXHIBIT "A ". This will be accomplished by a personal, on- the -spot field check from the sidewalk or street in front of the property, locating all major buildings and recording house number, construction features, use by occupancy, vacancies, etc. If aerial photography is available, the CITY will supply copies for the new areas to be mapped in order to help with the layout of the map sheets. C. The base map will be reduced to the standard 11" x 13" sheet size map and will be published in black and white at the 200' to the inch scale in a similar fashion as the existing maps. - 3 -
