January 18, 1965 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, <br />January 18, 1965 at 10:00 A.P. All members were present. Minutes of <br />the last regular meeting were read and approved. Vouclaers were approved <br />and ordered paid to the various suppliers. <br />BUILDING DEPARn ENT - SUB-ST D HEARINGS } <br />Comes now Mr. Richard Liszewski, Sub -Standard Division Supervision, <br />and advises the Board that Mr. Orrie Parker, attorney for Charles Mack, <br />party who is buying property on Land Contract, requested an additional <br />30 days continuance in order to complete sale of property, located at <br />1217 S. Rush Street. Mrs, -Harry Ticodemis holds title to this property. <br />Permission granted. Hearing continued for 30 days. <br />Mr. Harry Polis, mimer of property located at 810-?1 and 812 E. Colfax <br />Avenue requested permission for an -extension of hearing for 60,days <br />U'z <br />to allow sufficient time for fumigation and repair. <br />Permission granted. - - - - <br />With reference to property located at 126 LaPorte Avenue, owned by <br />Benny Korpal, Mr. Liszewski requested permission to post building as <br />sub -standard. This building is now vacant. <br />Permission granted. <br />Pair. Liszewski submitted a progress report on the following properties: <br />A representative of the V.O.P. Investment Company, Inc., reported to <br />11r, Liszew8ki that this: Corporation had taken over property located <br />at 715 Marietta which had been sold to Mrs. Lottie King under Land <br />Contract. Since Mrs. King had defaulted in this Contract, this <br />property has reverted to -the V.O.P. Investment Co., Inc.; and would <br />be repaired, as needed. <br />Property owned by Mrs. Lottie King, located at 212 Marietta is now <br />being cleaned up by Mrs. King. <br />Property owned by Pars. Lottie King, located at 234 E. Sample Street <br />will be torn down, as previously reported. No date has been set for <br />such demolition. <br />Eugene Radecki, Electrical Department Superintendent, requested <br />permission to have Board approval for future installation of street <br />lights, as they are needed, in"Fairfax Estates and Ireland Heights <br />Additions. <br />Approval was granted for the future installation of the following <br />street lights: <br />1. Fairfax Drive and Northlee Court in Fairfax Estates - 1 4000 <br />lumen light. <br />2. Byron Drive and Kennedy Drive, Ireland Heights Addition - 1 4000 <br />lumen light. <br />3. Kevin Court, Ireland Heights Addition - 1 4000 lumen light. <br />
