Proper signs: <br />Kentucky Street <br />Iowa Street <br />:Cake Street <br />Alley between Iowa and Lake Streets <br />Following the recommendation of Clem Haznski, the Board.approved the <br />erection of the proper signs to indicate the dead end streets. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARRENT INSTALLATIO ST STANIS LA,TJS C CH <br />Following the recommendation of Eugene Radecki., Electrical. Department <br />Superintendent, the following installation was approved: <br />1 - 4000 lumen street light in the middle of the block at 415 N. <br />Brookfield Street on Pole J 233-835. This is installed at the <br />entrance of St. Stanislaud Roman Catholic Church as the result of <br />a Petition from residents of the area submitted by Councilman <br />Szymkowiak. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT - REQUESTS FOR STREET LIGHTS <br />The following requests for street lights were referred to the Electrical. <br />Department for investigation and recommendation; <br />1. Al Nall and Associates, Inc. request street lights in <br />their new city sub -divisions called Fairfax Estates and Ireland <br />Heights. <br />2. A letter from Mrs. Robert Milovich addressed to Mayor Allen <br />was submitted to the Board by Mayor Allen. Mrs. Milovich who <br />resides at 3422 VVIhitcome Avenue requests a street light on <br />tthitcomb Avenue between Jennings and Klinger Streets. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT: ATTEND 17ETING <br />Permission was granted Forrest Iffest,.Building Commissioner to -'attend <br />the general:`' sessions of the Urban Land Institute at Denver, Colorado <br />on November 4th to 6th, 1964. <br />Mr. Test advised the Board that sufficient funds are available to cover <br />costs of this trip. <br />SUB -STANDARD DIVISION <br />Comes.naw John Grabarz and requests permission to hold the bids for <br />demolition of property located at 513 S. Bendix Drive pending checking <br />of budget for this demolition. <br />Permission granted. <br />John Grabarz requested permission to advertise for bids for demolition <br />of property located at 506 27th Street, owned by Mr. Cook. Mr. Grabarz <br />advised the-Board:that Mr. Cook had been contacted to show cause why <br />property had not that <br />up to standard but had failed to appear <br />as requested. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENTS PRQMOTIONS <br />Following the recommendation of the Fire Chief, the following promotions <br />were approved: <br />Captain Dale Fortin to Battalion Chief <br />Lt. Jack Bukowski to Captain <br />Private Frank Tor& to Lieutenant <br />The promotions are effective November 17 1964. <br />
