Proper signs: Kentucky Street Iowa Street :Cake Street Alley between Iowa and Lake Streets Following the recommendation of Clem Haznski, the Board.approved the erection of the proper signs to indicate the dead end streets. ELECTRICAL DEPARRENT INSTALLATIO ST STANIS LA,TJS C CH Following the recommendation of Eugene Radecki., Electrical. Department Superintendent, the following installation was approved: 1 - 4000 lumen street light in the middle of the block at 415 N. Brookfield Street on Pole J 233-835. This is installed at the entrance of St. Stanislaud Roman Catholic Church as the result of a Petition from residents of the area submitted by Councilman Szymkowiak. ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT - REQUESTS FOR STREET LIGHTS The following requests for street lights were referred to the Electrical. Department for investigation and recommendation; 1. Al Nall and Associates, Inc. request street lights in their new city sub -divisions called Fairfax Estates and Ireland Heights. 2. A letter from Mrs. Robert Milovich addressed to Mayor Allen was submitted to the Board by Mayor Allen. Mrs. Milovich who resides at 3422 VVIhitcome Avenue requests a street light on tthitcomb Avenue between Jennings and Klinger Streets. BUILDING DEPARTMENT: ATTEND 17ETING Permission was granted Forrest Iffest,.Building Commissioner to -'attend the general:`' sessions of the Urban Land Institute at Denver, Colorado on November 4th to 6th, 1964. Mr. Test advised the Board that sufficient funds are available to cover costs of this trip. SUB -STANDARD DIVISION Comes.naw John Grabarz and requests permission to hold the bids for demolition of property located at 513 S. Bendix Drive pending checking of budget for this demolition. Permission granted. John Grabarz requested permission to advertise for bids for demolition of property located at 506 27th Street, owned by Mr. Cook. Mr. Grabarz advised the-Board:that Mr. Cook had been contacted to show cause why property had not that up to standard but had failed to appear as requested. FIRE DEPARTMENTS PRQMOTIONS Following the recommendation of the Fire Chief, the following promotions were approved: Captain Dale Fortin to Battalion Chief Lt. Jack Bukowski to Captain Private Frank Tor& to Lieutenant The promotions are effective November 17 1964.
