FIRE DEPARTMENT: , ATTEND CONVENTION ( YCHENRY ) <br />Permission was granted to Fire Chief' <br />Cecil C. McHenry to attend <br />the International Fire Chief Convention from October 18 to 22nd, 1964 <br />in Houston, Texas. <br />PETITION* STREET LIGHTS ( CAL PUG I _AS ELECTRIL4 DEPARTMENT <br />A Petition from residents of the area of Woodhill and Idlewood Drive <br />requesting the installation of street lights was submitted to the Board <br />by Mr. Cal Dugas,, examindd and ordered referred to the Electrical <br />Department for investigation and recommendation. <br />The Petition requests lights installed on WoodUll Lane. <br />A petitic-n to increase 31 street lights 3000 lumens in the district <br />bounded by Twyckenham,, McKinley, Bader Avenue was submitted by <br />Mr. Eugene Radecki, Electrical Department Superintendent. This <br />increase in lumens would cost $34.10 per month or $409.20 per year. <br />The matter was referred to Mr. Duck for investigation to ascertain <br />whether there is sufficient money in the budget to defray these <br />costs. I <br />The Petitions were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />SPECIAL POLICE CMUSSION RENEWAL <br />The Board approved a renewed Special Police Commission for Clarence <br />E. Meyers, pending receipt of a Special Police Bond. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT -z—MILITARY LEAVE C HARMAN <br />The Board approved request for Military Leave for 15 days from <br />November 2, through November 17, 1964 for Captain Orson E Harman <br />in order that he may attend the regular duties of the Special <br />Investigation,, 1105 Group, at Bunker Hill Air Force Base in Indiana. <br />A request from the Police Der, <br />Account P-322 (Oil) to-P-37 ( <br />City Controller by the Board. <br />artment for transfer of funds from <br />Other Supplier) was referred to the <br />APPLICATION: POLICE, AUXILIARY SCHOOL PATROL <br />An application for the Police Auxiliary School Patrol from Mrs. Lillian <br />D.
