Community Relations Committee Ordinance <br />Page 2 <br />~~, t~~, ~ ~~~ ~ g'o~w~z ~v~.r~l of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as <br />follows: <br />Section I. Chapter 2, Article 1, Section 2-10 (i) (3) of the South Bend Municipal Code is amended <br />to read in its entirety as follows: <br />(3) Community Relations Committee: Overseeing the various activities of the Office of Community <br />Affairs and the relationships and ongoing communications with other public and private entities operating <br />within the City of South Bend. The Chairperson of the Community Relations Committee shall schedule not <br />less than two (2) committee meetings each calendar year inviting the superintendent, school trustees of the <br />South Bend Community School Corporation Board of Trustees their committees or designated <br />representatives and other non-public school officials operating within the City_of South Bend to discuss <br />school/community relations The Chairperson may schedule any additional meetings in a calendar ear on <br />school/community relations as he or she deems appropriate. The Chairperson shall additionally schedule <br />committee meetings with the Residential Neighborhoods Committee to receive and discuss information from <br />the Community/Campus Advisory Coalition (CCACZand all city a eg ncies offices and departments involved <br />with public safety regulations as further addressed in Section 14-60 of the South Bend Municipal Code. <br />Section II.
