TRAFFIC ENGINEER: TRAFFIC SIGNS <br />Following the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer, the following <br />installations were approved: <br />No Parking signs installed on both sides of Elwood Avenue from Portage Ave. <br />to Wilbur St. and on south side of Elwood from Wilbur to Olive Street. <br />Stop sign installed on Webster Street, both sides, at Grace Street. <br />Stop sign installed on Esther Street, southeast corner, at Mishawaka Ave. <br />Stop sign installed on Hildreth Street, southwest corner, at Greenlawn Ave. <br />No Parking installed on Hildreth Street, south side, betwen Greenlawn and <br />lst alley west. <br />No Parking sign installed on Olive Street, west side, from Lincoinway <br />West to Elwood Avenue. <br />PERMISSION TO ATTEND MEETING ( TRAFFIC ENGINEER ) <br />Clem Hazinski, Traffic Engineer, was granted permission to attend a meeting <br />of Traffic Engineers in Indianapolis on July 23, 1964. <br />REQUEST FOR STREET LIGHTING TWO SUB -DIVISIONS ( FAIRFAX ESTATES AND IRELAND <br />HEIGHTS ) <br />A letter from Albert E. Nall and Associates, Inc. requesting street lighting <br />in two sub -divisions to be called Fairfax Estates and Ireland Heights was <br />submitted to the Board, accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />Mr. Eugene Radecki, Superintendent of the Electrical Dela rtment will be <br />informed of this request, in accordance with the Board's orders. <br />STREET LIGHT INSTALLATIONS APPROVED <br />The following street light installations, having been recommended favorably <br />by the Electrical Superintendent, were approved by the Board: <br />1. Petition for street light at Bertrand Street - 1 4000 lumen light <br />installed. <br />2. Petition for street lights at Monroe Street at alley on Pole J 254, <br />appooximately 50 feet from Monroe and Fellows St. intersection. <br />3. 1 - 4000 lumen street light at 3737 Curtiss Drive. <br />4. Remove one 1,000 lumen street light and install one 4000 lumen light at <br />northwest corner of Curtiss Drive, No. <br />PETITIONS: STREET LIGHTS (COUNCILMAN SZYMKOWIAK ) <br />The following Petitions for street lights were referred to the Electrical <br />Department for investigation and recommendation: <br />1. Petition to insta111 a street light on North Elmer Street between 800 <br />and 900 block. <br />2. Petition to installea streetlight between 2200 and 2300 W. Smith Street. <br />3. Petition to install a street light at corner of Olive and Prast. <br />The above Petitions were submitted by Councilman Szymkowiak, 2nd District. <br />
