interest in this Estate to follow any available procedure to rid this <br />area of the blight that this house does and will continue to cause. <br />After hearing those who wished to be heard, the Board directed Mr. <br />Grabarz to notify the parties of interest that orders have not been <br />complied with and that bids for demolition will be taken. <br />Mr. Grabarz advised the Board that Mr. Melvin Tailor.,, owner of property <br />located at 830 Rush Street, had not complied with the orders of the <br />Board to remove building within two weeks. <br />The Board ruled that bids for demolition be obtained and structure <br />be demolished. <br />OPENING BIDS: SUB -STANDARD DIVISION i DEMOLITION i AWARDING BID <br />Mr. Grabarz submitted sealed bids for demolition of property at 321 <br />S. Kentucky Street which is to'be demolished. <br />The following bids were received: <br />Alf J. Demolition <br />318 O'Brien St. <br />South Bend, Ind. <br />Chas, Clough <br />25412 State Road #2 <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />$350.00 retain salvage <br />365.00 stack salvage <br />$240.00 retain salvage <br />300.00 stack salvage <br />After examination of the bids submitted, it appearing that the bids <br />were in accordance with specifications and regulations, and it also <br />appearing that Chas. Clough had submitted the lowest bid, it is <br />now so awarded to Chas.
