May 11, 1964 <br />-A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, May <br />11, 1964 at 10:00 A.M. Messrs. R. S..Andrysiak and R. J.DuComb were <br />present. Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved. <br />Vouchers were approved and ordered paid to the various suppliers. <br />OPENING OF BID: FIRE DEPARTMENT '(`RADIO EQUIPMENT ) <br />The time now being after 10:00 A.M. it was so announced and bid was <br />opened and read aloud for radio equipment for the fire 'stations. Proofs <br />of Publication from The South Bend Tribune with affidavit signed by <br />Robert DeLong and The Tri-County News with affidavit signed by Alfred <br />W. Beres. <br />The bid was taken under advisement and will be awarded at a later date. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT: PETITIONS FOR STREET LIGHTS <br />Comes now Eugene Radecki, Electrical Department Superintendent, and <br />requests a continuance on recommendations concerning three petitions <br />for street lights that were referred to his department for investigation <br />and recommendation. - <br />Request granted and report continued for one week. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT: HOUSE MOVE & GARAGE MOVE <br />Comes now -Forrest West and requests permission to move a garage from <br />4802 S. Main Street to 1107 Sunnymede Avenue. The garage is -owned by <br />Allen Mitschelen and will be moved by Lewis Mitschelen. <br />Mr. West advised the Board that all property owners affected by such a <br />move had been notified and submitted the following letters that had been <br />delivered by hand and signed by the addressee: <br />Mrs. Bernard Gray Donna Anderson Mrs. Lee Ellis <br />Mrs. John Lackman Mrs. John Winge Mrs. Julia Toth (refused <br />Mrs. Vera M.
