ATTEND SEMINAR: FIRE DEPARTMENT ( H. KLINGERMAN ) <br />Upon the recommendation of Fire Chief McHenry, permission was granted <br />to Harold Klingerman to attend the Emergency Aid and Transportation <br />?Seminar in Chicago, Illinois on May 13, 14 and 15, 1964. <br />APPLICATION ( POLICE DEPARTMENT) <br />An application from Louis Michael Kujawski for the Police Department <br />was accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />REQUEST: FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE LODGE #36 CARNIVAL <br />A request from Officer James Rzeszewski, Chairman of the F.O.P. <br />Carnival Committee to hold their annual carnival as follows <br />From May 12 through May 17 at Marycrest, June 8 through June 13 at <br />Colpaert Addition in 4000 block of Western Avenue, thence on June 22 <br />through June 28 back at Marycrest in 2000 block of Western Ave. <br />Request to have the K-9 Corps put on a demonstration during -the <br />Marycrest location stay on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the two <br />weeks. <br />A fireworks display is also requested, said demonstration to be handled <br />by Key City Shows and will be strictly an aerial demonstration. This <br />demonstration would be put on by Mr. Perri of 1010 W. 6th St., Mishawaka <br />and insurance coverage of $1.00,000/$300,000 liability and $25,000 <br />property damage. <br />Insurance will befurnished by Key City Shows covering all parties <br />concerned with liability of $100,000/$3000,000. <br />The Board granted permission for such a carnival; however permission <br />for fireworks displaycannotbe approved by this Board. This request <br />must be approved by the State Fire Marshall. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />was adjourned at 11:30 A.M. <br />1 <br />Attest: c d J.
