STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />MONFHLY REPORT: WEIGHTS & MEASURES <br />A Report for the month of March, 1964 from the Department of Weights & <br />Measures was accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT - SUB -STANDARD DIVISION ( HEARINGS ) <br />Comes now Otto Pozsgay with reference to property he owns and which <br />is located at 1302 Chapin Street. <br />This property has not been brought up to standard, as required by the <br />Sub -Standard Division of the Building Department. <br />Mr. Pozsgay requested a continuance before completing the repairs on <br />the property in order to determine whether this parcel of property <br />will be included in the Urban Renewal plan . He further stated that <br />a buyer for the property had decided against such purchase. <br />After hearing Mr. Pozsgay it was the decision of the Board, upon the <br />recommendation of the Sub -Standard Division Supervisor, Mr. Grabarz <br />to order that the property be cleaned of debris and the house boarded <br />up. <br />Mr. Pozsgay agreed to these terms. Case continued for two months. <br />With reference to property located at 321 S. Kentucky, Mr. Paul. <br />Schwertley, attorney representing the heirs:to the estate, advised <br />Mr. Grabarz that the heirs had no interest in this property and it <br />was satisfactory if the City advertised for bids to demolish. <br />The Board requested that Mr. Grabarz secure this decision in writing <br />and granted permission to advertise for bids to demolish. <br />Mr. Grabarz reported to the -Board that he had received only one bid <br />to demolish a structure located at 1615 S. William Street, and <br />requested a continuance of two weeks. <br />Request granted. <br />PERMISSION TO ADVERTISE: FIRE DEPARTMENT ( RADIO EQUIPMENT <br />Permission was granted to Fire Chief McHenry to advertise for radio <br />receiving equipment for the Fire Stations to replace worn out and <br />obsolete equipment. Advertisements will be placed on May 1, May 83, <br />1964. Sealed bids will be opened on May ill 1964. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />was adjourned at 11:00 A.M. <br />C irma n <br />Attest: ichard J.
