A & J Demolition <br />318 O'Brien St. <br />South Bend, Ind. <br />$260.00 and retain salvage <br />275.00 and stack material <br />Since it appears that Bill Torok Trucking Service has the lowest and <br />best bid, the bid is now awarded to Bill Torok Trucking Service. <br />INSTALLATIONS: STREET LIGHTS ( ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT ) <br />The following installations for street lights were approved, follow- <br />ing the recommendation of Eugene Radecki, Superintendent of the <br />Electrical Department and after thorough investigation of the <br />Petitions for such lights: <br />1. A 4000 lumen street light at 1102 Roosevelt Street. <br />2. A 4000 lumen street light at west end of Peachtree Lane. <br />PETITIONDENIED: STREET LIGHT ( ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT ) <br />After thorough investigation and recommendation by Eugene Radecki) <br />Superintendent of the Electrical Department, a Petition from Mrs. <br />C,.` J. Vargo and others for the installation of a street light at <br />2200 block of North Elmer Street was denied. <br />Mr. Radecki advised the Board, in his report, that a street .light <br />installed at the location requested would not benefit property owners <br />since there are no homes in this area at the present time. <br />Mr. Radecki informed the Board that a 4000 lumen light installed at <br />2200 N. Elmer S;t.::.would 'relieve _ presen-F dark. condition. <br />The matter was taken under advisement and, for the present, the <br />Petition was ordered placed on file. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />APPLICATION: ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT <br />An application for the Electrical Department from George Anthony <br />Miller was accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER: TRAFFIC SIGNS <br />The following installations were approved by the Board, following the <br />recommendation of Clem Hazinski, Traffic Engineer: <br />No Parking Sunday Morning signs. installed on south side of St. <br />John's Way in 3500, 3600 and 3700 blocks. <br />APPLICATION: POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />An application for the Police Department from Ronald Joseph Dobosz <br />was accepted by the Board and ordered placed on file. <br />SPECIAL POLICE BOND ( TORRINGTON ) <br />A renewal of a Special Police Bond for Edward T. Wagnerowski, an <br />employee of Torrington Company was approved and ordered placed on <br />file. <br />
