REQUEST FOR REPORT: BUILDING DEPARTMENT - SUB -STANDARD DIVISION <br />BEACON HEIGHTS <br />John Grabarz of the Sub -Standard Division of the Building Department <br />was requested to investigate and submit a report on vandalism and <br />recommendation concerning repairs in Beacon Heights. <br />PTTTTION: STREET LIGHT ( BROOKFIELD STREET <br />A Petition for a street light on Brookfield Street between Carroll <br />and St. Joseph Street was referred to the Electrical Department for <br />investigation and recommendation. <br />REQUEST FOR STREET LIGHT L.LGr. PAFFENBACH ) <br />A request from Sgt. E. Paffenbach, School Safety Education Officer, <br />fora brighter street light at Lincoln Way West and Ryer Street to <br />make the crossing brighter and assure the safety of the school children <br />and the school patrol woman who does school traffic at this intersection <br />was submitted to the Board. <br />The request was referred to the Electrical Department for investigation <br />and recommendation. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT: RETIREMENT ( DET. SGF. PINTERICS ) <br />Following the approval of Police -Chief Hampton, the Board approved the <br />retirement of Det. Sgt. F. Pinterics from the Police Department, to <br />be effective February 16, 1964. <br />Det. Sgt. Pinterics was appointed to the Department January 6, 1941. <br />APPLICATION: POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />An application for the Police Department from Howard E. Warren, Jr.,. -was <br />accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />APPLICATION: POLICE AUX. SCHOOL PATROL <br />An application for the Police Auxiliary School Patrol from Mrs. Pearlie <br />Roberts was accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />APPLICATIONS: FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />The following applications for the Fire Department were accepted and <br />ordered placed on file: Francis DeBuysser, Charles R. Nance, James C. <br />Weltman, Louis -Michael Kujawski. <br />HEALTH DEPARTMENT REPRESENTATIVE <br />Mr. Stephen Molnar of the St. Joseph Health Department was present at <br />the meeting as a representative of that Department. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board,- the meeting <br />was adjourned at 11:00 A.M. <br />f <br />At t: Ri d J.
