ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT ( INSTALLATIONS) <br />Following the recommendation of Nicholas Horvath, Electrical Department <br />Superintendent, the following installations were approved: <br />1. Installl 5 - 21000 lunen street lights in front of the <br />Bendix Administration Building. (Remove 2-1000 lumen lights.) <br />To be done as per attached drawing. <br />2. Install 14 - 4000 lumen street lights in Scottsdale Addition <br />(Section "D"). To be done as per attached drawing. <br />PETITIOU ELEC£RICAL:DEPARTNENT ( STREET LIGHTS - VIRGINIA_ST.) <br />Councilman Lehman submitted a Petition from residents of Virginia <br />Street requesting the installation of two street lights on Virginia <br />between Indiana and Broadway. <br />The Petition was referred to the Electrical Department for investiga- <br />tion and recommendation. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS_ <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT: ATTEND CONFERENCE DEVOLDER) <br />Permission was given to Det. Sgt. DeVolder to attend a conference <br />of the Indiana Mental Health Association in Indianapolis, Indiana, <br />September 19 to the 21st, 1963. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT: SERVICE PENSION (_CAPT. CIESIELSKI) <br />The Board approved a request from Capt. Stephen J. Ciesialski for <br />a!service pension after 212 years on the Police department. Capt. <br />Ciesielski will be on vacation which will terminate September 1, 1963. <br />With the two week terminal leave period following, his official <br />separation from the City payroll will be September 15, 1963, <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT: _ATTEND CONFERENCE ( CHIEF ANDRZEJEWSKIJ <br />Permission was granted Fire Chief Andrzejewski to attend the Indiana <br />Fire Chief's Association Conference on September 10, 11, 12 and 13, <br />1963 in Fort 'Wayne, Indiana. <br />APPLICATION: FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />An application for the Fire Department from Jack Martin Piechowicz <br />was accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />HEALTH DEPARTMENT REPRESENTATIVE_ <br />Mr. Stephen Molnar attended the meeting as a representative of the <br />Health Department. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the <br />meeting <br />was adjourned at 11:00 A.M. <br />Cha iirrm <br />z" <br />Attest: Ant on J.
