Based upon this information, the Board approves the above move to Rogers Street. 326 N. Lafayete Blvd. to 2430 Rogers St. 24 x 30 x 28 House and 20 x 20 x 15 Garage Owner: Lewis Mitschelen Mover: Lewis Mitschelen REGULATIONS FOR HOUSE MOVES: The Board now sets out the following regulations to be followed in future house moves: 1. Plot Plan will be submitted to the Building Department prior to each move. 2. Insurance indemnifying the City of South Bend and the property owners in the area will be submitted. 3. House will not be occupied until up to standard on all Ordinances. r 4. House will be placed within the lot lines. 5. Moving will be compledted within 90 days of date of permit or house will be moved from premises. SUB -STANDARD DIVISION —HEARINGS_ ) Comes now Carl Weidler, attorney, representing owners of property located at 525 Cottage Grove and requests a continuance of from 60 to 90 days in order to get clear title and make necessary repairs. Mr. Weidler reported that the deed is now in excrow. The Board ruled that a continuance be granted and that the houseshall be completely repaired by November 12, 1963. Also, it shall not be occupied until it is repaired. Comes now Mr. George Stark with reference to property located at 322 W,Marian Street and requests permission to tear house down. Permission granted and the Board stipulated that all rubish be removed from premises within 60 days. Completion date set for October 289 1963. TRAFFIC ENGINEER:_ PETITION FOR STOP SIGN VICTORIA & MARINE) The Board accepted a Petition from residents in the area of Victoria and Marine Streets requesting the installation of a stop sign on Victoria and Marine Streets and referred said Petition to the Traffic Engineer for investigation and recommendation. TRAFFIC ENGINEER LINSTALLATIONS - TRAFFIC SIGNS) Following the recommendation of theTraffic Engineer, the following installations were approved: Stop signs installed on Napoleon Street, both sides, at St. Joseph Stop signs installed on Foster Street, both sides, at Napoleon Stop signs installed on Irvington, both sides, at Dale St. Stop signs installed on High Street, both sides, at Irvington TRAFFIC ENGINEER: REPORT - NEW YORK CENTRAL RAILROAD OLIVE & SAMPLE GROSSING _ —--~---- Clem Hazinski, Traffic Engineer, submitted a letter from New York Central Railroad in answer to his written request that the railroad crossings at Olive and Sample and also at Ford and Lincolnway 'Nest be repaired. Mr. Teeter, Division Engineer, advised Mr. Hazinski that due to circumstances beyond their control the repairs could not be made but an effort would be made to do the necessary repair work before winter set in. The Board ruled that the City will require that these repairs be made before winter sets in.
