Dundee Street between Ford and Dunham Streets. <br />INSTALLATION APPROVAL ( STREET LIGHT�L <br />Following the recommendation of Roger DeClercq, Assistant Superintendent <br />of the Eledtrical Department, the Board approved the following <br />installation: <br />1 - 2500 lumen street light at 3516 Langley Drive. This is at the <br />request of Southmore Mutual Housing Corp. <br />RE: SPEED SIGNS ( EDGEWATER AND LINCOL_NWXY ON ARCH <br />RECEIPT OF PETITION <br />A Petition from residents in the area of Arch Avenue, Lincolnway East <br />and Edgewater Drive to the Board requested speed a7ntrol signs of <br />' 10-15 mile per hour limit. <br />This request was formerly received by the Board by the Precinct <br />Committeeman and has been referred to the Traffic Engineer for <br />x investigation and recommendation. <br />The Board directed that the Petition be referred to the Traffic <br />Engineer. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER INSTALLATIONS - TRAFFIC SIGNS ) <br />Following the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer, the Board <br />approved the following installations: <br />Stop sign installed on York Road, southwest corner, at Hilltop Drive <br />Stop sign installed on Hastings Street, southwest corner, at Logan St. <br />Stop sign on 36th Street, both sides, at Hastings Street. <br />Stop sign on 34th Street, both sides, at Hastings St. <br />Stop sign on Hastings Street, both sides, at 33rd St. <br />Stop signs installed on 32nd St., both sides, at Hastings St. <br />Stop signs installed on Hastings Street, both sides, at 27th St. <br />Stop signs installed on Hoke Street, both sides, at Fox St. <br />Stop sign installed on Ribourde Drive, southwest corner, at Portage Ave. <br />Yield signs installed on Sylvan Lane, both sides, at Dogwodd <br />No Parking This Side signs installed 2100 block Beverly Place, east side. <br />No Parking This Side signs installed on 1100 block Ryer St., south side. <br />No Parking signs installed to eliminate parking for 100 ft. north of <br />Studebaker foundry gate on 1100 block of Prairie Ave. <br />20 MPH speed zone installed for 2100 block of Beverly Place <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT REQUEST: SEAGRAVE PUMPER FOR SALVAGE <br />A letter signed by Captain Carl Martz, Jr., Chief Mechanic of the <br />Fire Department, Captain Leo Banacki, Mechan ic, C4 t. Ted Kanczuzewski, <br />and Capt. Anthony Gadacz, Mechanics was submitted to the Board. <br />The above -mentioned members of the Fire Department state that they have <br />examined a 1937 Seagrave Pumper, Mod. #66E7-4867554408024 a piece of <br />equipment used by the Fire Department, and that all valuable and useable <br />parts have been removed from this truck. This piece of equipment, as <br />it remains now, is only good for salvage. Its present condition makes <br />if worth approximately $100.00. <br />It was the decision of the Board that this piece of equipment be sold <br />for approximately $99 for salvage. <br />
