No Parking w.arrows signs installed on Bendix Drive in front of Bendix Gate #6 for 40 feet. 30 Minutes Time Limit signs installed at 1129 Western Avenue 2 Hour Time Limit signs installed at 301 E. Sample Street. PETITION: ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT ( STREET LIGHT A Petition from residents of Riverside Drive for a street light on north property line of 2135 Riverside Drive, the Serge residence, was presented to the Board. The Board referred the Petition to the Electrical Department for investigation and recommendation. PETITION DENIED: ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT ( ALLEY LIGHT_) Following the recommendation of Nicholas Horvath, Superintendent of the Electrical Department, a Petition for a street light in the alley in the rear of 1114 S. Franklin Street was denied. TRAFFIC ENGINEER REDUCED SPEED ---ARCH STREET A request from Mr. Fotia, Precinct Committeeman of Fourth Precinct, Fourth District requesting that a 10 to 15 miles per hour speed be enforced on Arch Street between Edgewater Drive and Lincolnway East because of the many children living in this block was referred to the Traffic Engineer for investigation and recommendation. BUILDING DEPARTMENT OCCUPY _PART OF PUBLIC WALK - W. JEFFERSON Comes now Louis Smogor, Building Commissioner, and requests that part of a public walk located at 230 W. Jefferson Boulevard be occupied by Glaser Construction Company to allow them to remove windows and put in wall was approved. Approximately 5 feet of the walk will be occupied. The windows to be removed are on the So. Lafayette Street side of this building.
