APPLICATION: POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />An application for the Police Department from Timothy Allen Reuse was <br />accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS_ <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH REPRESENTATIVE <br />Mr. Steven Molnar, representing the St. Joseph County Health Department <br />was present at the meeting. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />was adjourned at 10:55 A.M. <br />k <br />June 24, 1963 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, <br />June 249 1963 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of <br />the last regular meeting were read and approved. Vouchers were <br />approved and ordered paid to the various suppliers. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER: INSTALLATIONS TRAFFIC SIGNS <br />Following the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer, the following <br />installations were approved: <br />No Parking signs installed on northeast side of 1000 block <br />of Lincolnway East <br />Stop Signs installed on Sampson Street, both sides, at <br />Calvert St. <br />Stop Signs installed on Doke Street, both sides, at Calvert. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT: RETIREMENT AND TERMINAL LEAVE ( SGT. WETTERGREN-1 <br />Sgt. Edward Wettergren requested that the Board accept his application <br />for Terminal Leave and retfurement.. Said Terminal Leave will start on <br />June 20, 1963 and Retirement on July 5, 1963. <br />The Board accepted the Terminal Leave and Retirement, with regret, and <br />wished to commend Sgt. Wettergren on his many years of service on the <br />Police Department. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT: MILITARY LEAVE( OFFIEER JAMES ROBISON) <br />The Board approved the request of Officer James Robison for military <br />leave from July 28 to August 11, 1963. The training will take place <br />at Tool Ord. Depot, Toole, Utah. <br />
