Berkley Place intersects
Beverly Place at an acute angle midway between Oakwood and Lathrop.
Inglewood Place is the first two-way street east of Beverly Place
which runs from Lathrop to Oakwood.
The Report contained a detailed account of volume of traffic, speed
studies and general information pertinent to the subject.
As a result of his Report, Mr. Hazinski made the following recommendations:
1. Widen Beverly Place to 30 feet between Oakwood and Lathrop
Streets and widen Lathrop to its full width of 40 feet
between Beverly and Riverside Drive (Barrett Law.)
2. Allow one-way system to remain in effect until the above -
mentioned improvements are completed and enforced as such.
3. Post a reduced speed limit on Beverly Place.
The Report was accepted and ordered placed on file.
Comes now Mr. Don.Yates, 2218 Inglewood Place to object to the rest of
the neighborhood being inconvenienced because of a situation involving
only Beverly Place.
Mr. Yates agreed that the one-way system should remain in effect until
6treet ie widened under-Bars.ett Law.
Comes now Mr. David Koehler, 2149 Beverly Place to disagree that the
system is an inconvenience.. He did agree that some of the problem might
be solved by the elimination of curb parking on Beverly.
The Board, having heard the remonstrators who wished to be heard and
having fully examined the Report submitted by Mr. gazinski, took the
matter under advisement and will make its findings on or before the next
meeting of the Board. .
