I'M <br />following action: <br />An affidavits prepared by the City Attorney's office, has been signed <br />by one of the residents.in the affected area, a warrant has been issued <br />by the City Clerk's office and service..of same has been accepted <br />by an officer of the Rose Coal & Fuel Company. The case has been <br />set for April 119 1963 in City Court. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT HOUSE DEMOLITION <br />Comes now Louis Smogor, Building Commissioner$ and requests permission <br />to take emergency action with reference to the house demolition at <br />1301 N. Michigan Street. This structure has been torn down by Hamf <br />The Wrecker, and the present condition is an extreme hazard. <br />Permission granted and admonition given to Ham, The Wrecker to <br />remove hazardous materials and/or conditions caused by demolitions <br />forthwith. The property in question is owned by Mr. Hal Kelly. <br />PETITION: STREET LIGHT (ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT <br />A Petition from residents of the 1600 and 1700 blocks of North <br />Knoblock Street requesting the installation of street lights at 1625 <br />N. Knoblock and 1711 N. Knoblock was referred to the Electrical <br />Department for investigation.and recommendation. <br />INSTALLATION: STREET LIGHT ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT <br />Following the recommendation of Nicholas Horvath, Electrical Department, <br />the following installation, petitioned by Sgt. Krupa, was approved: <br />1 - 4000 lumen street light at Bergan and Meade Streets. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS_ <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER(PARKING INSTALLATION SIGNS <br />Following the recommendation of Clem Hazinski, Traffic Engineer, the <br />following traffic signs were approved: <br />12 Mihute Parking Limit at this Meter - No Parking from 3 P.M. <br />to 6 P.M. Tuesday through Friday. 3 P.M. to 9 P.M. Monday - <br />9 A.M. to 6 P.M. Saturday, on first three meters east of <br />Main Street on north side of 100 W. Colfax Avenue. <br />Mr. Hazinski also reported that his department will eliminate restrictions <br />on Saturday mornings on an experimental basis in the 100 block of <br />W. Colfax Avenue - half of block east of Main Street. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT MONTHLY REPORT <br />A report for the month of February s 1963 from the Police Department <br />was accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was <br />asjourned at 10:45 A.M.
