Alternators <br />Special Discounted Price on 3 Cars $8,462.69 <br />Less Federal Tax on 3 Cars 691.86 <br />$7,770.88 <br />Less 3 Trade-ins 675.00 <br />Total Net Delivered Price on 3 Cars $7,095.83 <br />Certified check for $715.00, signed by Eli Spicer <br />Non -collusion Affidavit$ signed by Victor Freeman <br />JO <br />Recording of this bid was inadvertently omitted under Heading: "Opening <br />of Bids: Police Department (Sedans & Motorcycles)"on Page 155. <br />BUILDING -DEPARTMENT ( HOUSE MOVE-SUNNYMEDE)_ <br />With reference to a proposed house move from 601 Eddy Street to 1107 <br />Sunnymede which hearing was continued for two weeks to allow residents <br />of area to bring in engineer to inspect said house, comes now Mr. Louis <br />Smogor, Building Commissioner, and informs the Board that no report from <br />any engineer or finding of said engineer has been received by the <br />Building Department. He further states that said house is in good <br />condition and that sufficient insurance will be obtained to protect <br />property owners and residents. <br />The Board, having been assured by the Building Department and the mover <br />of said house that the house will blend in with the surrounding neighbor- <br />hood residences and that said house will be ready.for occupancy not later <br />than 60 days after moving to new location now approves the move. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT HOUSE MOVE _DAIRY QUEEN <br />With reference to a proposed house move from 1043 Lincolnway West to <br />616 N. Walnut Street, comes now J. F. Nimtz, apppearing for Dairy Queelh <br />of St. Joseph County, Inc., owner of said dwelling and states that the <br />owner's desire not to go against the wishes of the neighborhood had <br />prompted him to purchase lot located at 520 Cottage Grove Avenue. Said <br />house will not be moved to the Walnut Street address. The owner now <br />requests permission to move house to 520 Cottage Grove Avenue. <br />Comes now Mr. Jack Lindley, 604 Cottage Groove Avenue who states that <br />residents of area had received only four days notice of the proposed <br />move. He requests additional time in order to investigate condition of <br />house to be moved and become more, familiar with the provisions of the <br />move. <br />The Board suggested that Mr. Lindley,be advised of the conditions by <br />the Building Department and, if he is not satisfied, hearing will be <br />continued for one week. However, after meeting with the Building <br />Department and become acquainted with the provisions of the proposed <br />move, Mr. Lindley withdraws his request-forea continuance. <br />House move is therefore approved, under the usual conditinns, - meeting <br />all code requirements and Building Department regulations. <br />
