f, 5 3 <br />The Board, after hearing all persons who wished to be heard, advised <br />the remonstrators that as long as the proposed house move was done <br />in accordance with all code requirements, sufficient insurance and <br />all things necessary for the approval of the Building Department, <br />the Board had no power to object to such a move. <br />The action of the Board is contingent upon the ruling of the Board <br />of Zoning Appears concerning the lot involved in this move. <br />The moving of this house is approved provided all regulations are <br />met and sufficient insurance is secured. Also, the house may not <br />be occupied until all code requirements are met, but, in any event, <br />it must be ready for occupancy 60 days after move. <br />SUB. --STANDARD DIVISION ( HEARINGS ) <br />Comes now Mr. Miller, party of interest in a house located at 601 <br />E. Pennsylvania Avenue, representing the Highland Cemetery <br />Association. <br />Mr. Grabarz informed the Board that the house has not been boarded <br />up, as required by the Board. <br />Mr. Miller advised the Board that Mr. Miltenberger, owner of the <br />house, has been working on the house in order to bring it up to <br />standard. <br />After hearing all persons who wished to be heard, the Board ruled <br />that demolishment order be withdrawn and that the house must be <br />repaired not later than May 209 1963. <br />The Board now heard Mr. Elliott, party of interest in property <br />located at 410 Leland Avenue. <br />Mr. Elliot appeared to answer to the Board as to why repair orders <br />had not been followed and why steps had not been taken to make this <br />house, which is now vacant, safe until such time as it is either <br />repaired or demolished. <br />Mr. Elliott contended that he intends to bring house up to standard, <br />and is ready and willing to do what is necessary so that house will <br />be safe. <br />The Board ruled that Mr. Elliot work out some plan to make this dwelling <br />safe with Mr. Grabarz and hearing will be continued until May 209 1963 . <br />SUB -STANDARD DIVISION ( BIDS FOR DEMOLITION) <br />Mr. Grabars informed the Board that, as the result of public notice <br />for bids, only one Company had bid on the following properties: <br />418 Cottage Grove Avenue: <br />A & J. Demolition $260 with salvage <br />$290 without salvage <br />1705 N. Elmer St.: $160 with salvage <br />A & J Demolition $205 without salvage. <br />Mr. Grabarz was directed to accept the bid which, in his judgment, was <br />the best bid for such demolition. <br />
