ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT STREET LIGHT INSTALLATIONS) <br />Following the recommendation of Nicholas Horvath, Superintendent of <br />the Electrical Department, the following installations were approved: <br />Install <br />1-4000 <br />lumen street <br />light <br />at <br />III E. <br />Broadway <br />Install <br />1-4000 <br />lumen street <br />light <br />at <br />2511 W. <br />Dunham St. <br />Increase <br />2500 <br />lumen street <br />light <br />at <br />2501 w. <br />Dunham to 4000 lumen light. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER ( TRAFFIC SIGNSI <br />Following the recommendation of Clem Hazinski,-Traffic Engineer, the <br />following installations were approved: <br />Stop Signs installed on Madison Ave. at Notre Dame, both sides, <br />making this a 4-way Stop intersection. <br />20 MPH signs installed on Ford St. making 20 MPH zone from Kaley <br />to Olive on Ford St. <br />4 - 2 Hour time limit signs installed on Francis Street from <br />LaSalle Avenue 1st drive south of LaSalle on west side of street. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT(PERMISSION TO ADVERTISE) <br />Chief Harman of the Police Department was given permission to have <br />advertisements placed in The South Bend Tribune and The Record for <br />7 sedans, 3 heavy duty sedans and 3 - two wheel motorcycles. <br />The advertisements will appear on March 229 March 29, 1963. Bids <br />will be opened on April 1, 1963. <br />ACCIDENT REPORT POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />A non -injury accident report from the Police Dbpartment was accepted <br />.and ordered placed on file. <br />APPLICATIONS: POLICE AUXILIARY SCHOOL PATROL <br />Applications for the Police Afaxiliary School Patrol from Mrs. Dorothy <br />Evelyn Simon and Mrs. Margaret L. Fisher were accepted and ordered <br />placed on file. <br />SPECIAL POLICE BONDS <br />Special Police Bonds for Albert A. Vascil and Albert Jackson Dunkel <br />were approved and ordered placed on file. <br />APPLICATIONS: FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />Applications for the Fire Department from Norman M. Matuszak and <br />Joseph C. Jerzakowski were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />was adjourned at 11:00 A.M. <br />Attest: Anthony/,ff.
