ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT ( STREET LIGHT' INSTALLATIONS ) <br />Following the recommendation of Nicholas Horvath, Superintendent of <br />the Electrical Department, the following installations were approved: <br />1. 1 - 4000 lumen street light at intersection of Rerick Dr. <br />and Cabot Drive. <br />2. 1 - 4000 lumen street light at intersection of Rerick Drive <br />and Rose Street. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT ( COUNCILMAN COLEMAN'S REQUEST - HUMBOLDT LIGHT) <br />With reference to Councilman Coleman's request for a street light at the <br />intersection of Humboldt and Clevelandp Mr. Horvath reports that he was <br />unable to get the cooperation of petitioner Mr. Miller of 1148 Cleveland <br />Avenue to set a pole in order to get lines out of alley to corner of <br />Cleveland and Humboldt. 'This area is underground boulevard lighting. <br />With reference to a request from Councilman Krueper for additional -street <br />lighting in Eastgate Estates, especially on Haas Drivel Mr. Horvath reports <br />that petitions have been prepared for the locations with street lights <br />.can be installed for property owner's signature and consent. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT (.PETITION FOR STREET LIGHT — NAPOLEON & FOSTER ) <br />A letter from George V. Schmitt, 218 Napoleon Boulevard states that on <br />behalf of his neighbors and himself that a street light be installed at <br />southeast corner of Napoleon Boulevard and Foster Street. <br />The request was referred to the Electrical Department for investigation <br />and recommendation. <br />CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE H. G. CHRISTMAN CONSTRUCTION CO., -_ NATIONAL <br />A Certificate of Insurance from H. G. Christman Construction Company <br />in connection with National Bank and Trust Company sidewalk contract <br />indemnifying the City of south Bend for accident and property damage was <br />accepted by the Board and ordered placed on file. . <br />There being no further business to come before the Board$ the meeting was <br />adjourned at 10:55 A.M. <br />Attest: AntXoj y J.
