Boxes will be placed in the various stations by November 1. The <br />gifts will be picked up frequently by an authorized member of the <br />program. The drive must be completed by December 1, so the boxes <br />will be removed by then. <br />Permission granted and the Secretary of the Board was directed to so <br />notify Mrs. Hupp of this decision. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT ( APPLICATION <br />An application for the Fire Department frojo. enneth John Andert was <br />accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT ( SCHILLING'S CANOPY ) <br />Comes now Mr.'Ted Lewandowski of the Building Department and requests <br />permission for John Schilling, 110 E. Dayton Street, to erect a <br />canopy :measuring 12 inch by 23 feet, 6 inches overhanging public <br />property. <br />It was the decision of the Word that this canopy will be ermitted <br />PY p g <br />provided all regulations of the Building Department are complied <br />with and proof of insurance for $100#000 per accident, $3009000 <br />aggregate accident and $25900 property damage indemnifying the City <br />of bouth Bend is submitted to the Board. <br />REs STREET LIGHT INSTALLATIONS ( WALTER ERLER ) <br />W. Walter Erler appeared before the Board to thank the members of the <br />Board and the City Electrical Department for the installation of <br />street lightn Columbia Court. <br />Following the recommendation of Nicholas Horvath, Superintendent of <br />the --Electrical Department, <br />the following street light installations <br />were approved:, <br />1 <br />- 4000 lumen <br />street <br />light <br />at <br />1125 E. Sorin St. <br />1 <br />- 4000 lumen <br />street <br />light <br />at <br />602 S. Ironwood Drive <br />1 <br />- 4000 lumen <br />street <br />light <br />at <br />intersection of Greenleaf and <br />clearview <br />Place <br />1 <br />- 4000 lumen <br />street <br />light <br />at <br />602 S. Camden St. <br />1 <br />- 4000 lumen <br />street <br />light <br />at <br />Sheridan and Dunham intersection. <br />1 <br />- 4000 lumen <br />street <br />light <br />at <br />intersection of Woodcrest Drive <br />and Twyckenham Drive. <br />1 <br />- 4000 lumen <br />street <br />light <br />at <br />intersection of Rosemary Lane and <br />Peachtree <br />Lane. <br />1 <br />- 4000 lumen <br />street <br />light <br />at <br />1600 block South St. Joseph Street. <br />PETITIONS: STREET LIGHTS ( ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT_) <br />The following Petitions requesting installation of street lights were <br />referred to the Electrical Department for investigation and recommendations <br />Petition from Mr. and firs. Louis G. Vargo and others for a street <br />light in the 1300 Block of N. Adams Street. <br />Petition from Chester S. Zmudzinski and others for a street light <br />on Dundee Street between Huron and Ford Streets. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REP„MTS <br />Street Light Outage Repdrts were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT MONMY REPORT <br />A monthly report for the month of September, 1962 from the Building <br />Department was accepted and- ordered placed on file. <br />
