The Board also ruled that the Library will be responsible for the maintenance <br />of the racks. Mr. Hazinski was directed to notify Mr. Francis of the,Bosrd's <br />decision. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER ( TRAFFIC SIGNS „) � <br />Following the recommendation of Traffic Engineer, the following <br />traffic sign installations were approved: <br />2 - 2 Hr. Parking limit signs on east side of 900 Block Roberts St. <br />.alongside of 1302 Mishawaka Ave. <br />2 - 2 Hr. Parking limit sihns in front of 1302 Mishawaka Ave. <br />4 - No Parking signs from 1921 Northside Blvd., toentrance to <br />Boat Club on same street. <br />4 - No Parking Passenger Loading signs in front of 1245 N. Sheridan <br />Ave. <br />Stop signs installed on Irvington St., both sides at Marine St. <br />2 - 2 Hr. time limit parking signs to cover 108 and 112 W. Navarre St. <br />2 - 2 Hr. time limit parking signs to cover 774 Lincolnway East <br />2 - 1 Hr. time limit parking signs to cover 1622 8 1624 Western Ave. <br />3 - 1 Hr. parking.9 A.M. to 9 P.M. signs to cover 1918 to 1924 <br />S. Rush Street and requests a continuance of the case. <br />Request granted and case a©ntinued until May 28? 1962. <br />Comes now Mrs. Kings owner of property located at,2344 E. Sample St. <br />Mr. Grabarz reported that Mrs. King had contract of saie,.subject to <br />repairs.on property. <br />It was the decision of the Board that Mr. Grabarz fallow through on. <br />the matter and reset the case for hearing at his discretion. <br />Comes now Mary and Jose0h Williams.of 1210 Sorin Street. This property <br />had been ordered vacated and demolished. Mr. and Mrs. Williams appeared <br />to appeal the condemnation order. <br />The case was w ntinued for one week. <br />With reference to property located at 502 29th Street owned by Mr. Blair, <br />Mr. Grabarz requested permission of the Board to advertise for bids for <br />demolition if the owner did not demolish the building himself according <br />to directive. <br />Permission granted. <br />BUIDDING DEPARTMENT ( HDUSE MOVE ) <br />Comes now Verner Lane, Building Cammissionerp and requests permission to <br />move a house from 1914 Miami Street to 1917 Marine Street. Mr. Lane <br />ikdvised the Board that Mr. Grabarz had inspected the house to be moved. <br />Mr. Lane further advised the Board that this house had been cleared to <br />be moved to Fox Street and the Boards approval had been granted for <br />this previous move. <br />Mr. James Bostick of 1804 Hillsdale appeared before the Board to <br />remonstrate said move. He also advised the Board that he represented <br />7'r. Cain. Both Dr. Cain and Mr. Bostick are owners of property on _ <br />Marine Street in the vicinity of the house proposed location. <br />
