The bids will be examined by the Building Department and will be awarded <br />within the statutory limits. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT ( SUB -STANDARD DIVISION) HEARING <br />With reference to property located at 325 S. Camden Street, owned'by <br />Jewell and Pearline Love, it appears that notice addressed to the owners <br />requesting them to appear before the Board to show cause why condemnation <br />orders issued against this property have been ignored was received -,rand <br />since the owners have failed to appear, as directed, the Board now <br />directs the Building Department to take the necessary steps for <br />condemnation and destruction of the above -mentioned property. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT ( ATTEND SOUTHERN POLICE INSTITUTE, <br />With the approval of Police chief Harman, the Board grant permission for <br />Det. Sgt. Michael Santa to attend the Southern Polite Institute, Louisville, <br />Ky., from March 26 to June 15, inclusive. <br />APPLICATION AUXILIARY SCHOOL PATROL <br />An application for Auxiliary School Patrol from Gertrude Hayum was accepted <br />and ordered placed on file. <br />SPECIAL POLICEMAN'S BOND( RENEWAL) <br />Special Policeman's Bond for Albert A. Vascil was accepted and ordered <br />placed on file. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT_ <br />Following the recommendation of Nicholas Horvath, Superintendent of the <br />Electrical Department, the following street light installations were <br />approved: <br />1 - 4000 lumen street light at 616 Lindsey St. <br />1 - 4000 lumen street light at 611 Pierce St. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street Light Optage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />DEPARTMENT OF WEIGHTS & MEASURES REPORT <br />A Report for the month of -February from the Department of Weights & <br />Measures was accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />BIDS ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT TRUCK_ <br />After examination of the bids submitted for the Electrical Department <br />Truck, -it was found that the Electrical Department does not have sufficient <br />funds in the budget to meet the bidssubmitted. <br />Therefore, no action will be taken on the procurement of a truck at this <br />time and no bid will be awarded. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was <br />adjourned at.10:45 A.M. <br />Attest: Anth J.
