It is recommended that the timing of such updates be <br />incorporated into and in advance of the preparation and approval process of the annual City budget. <br />As deemed appropriate, associated goals and objectives relative to these types of plans should be <br />inclusive of performance measures whenever possible. The Common Council believes that sharing information on a regular basis that <br />involves various types of plans for our neighborhoods would foster improved communication and <br />collaboration. <br />Section II. The Common Council's Community Investment Committee in conjunction with <br />the Personnel and Finance Committee and /or the Residential Neighborhoods Committee is <br />requested to coordinate and schedule joint meetings so that the City Administration and any related <br />departments, may provide updates on all village /neighborhood plans, all master /revitalization <br />plans and all development areas and plans beginning in 2017. <br />Section III. The Common Council believes that annual updates by the Administration to <br />the Common Council would provide an excellent mechanism for en ement, education, and <br />planning, as well as be in the best interests of our City. <br />Section VI.
