CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA J <br />SELLER'S BID FOR SALE OR LEASE OF MATERIALS <br />SPECIFICATIONS <br />raas <br />Equipment Purchase for Nello Corporation Phase XVI <br />BID NAME Project No. 116-137 <br />FOR BIDS DUE January 10, 2017 at 9:30 am <br />Pursuant to notices given, the undersigned offers bid(s) to the City of South Bend in accordance <br />with the following attachment(s) which specify the class or item number or description, quantity, <br />unit, unit price. <br />F.O.B. destination is Nello Corporation located at 1201 Sheridan Street, South Bend, IN 46628 <br />OVERVIEW <br />The City of South Bend is soliciting bids from qualified providers to supply a tower leg <br />welding system designed for self-supporting tower legs ranging from 2 inch diameter to 20 <br />inch diameter for a manufacturing facility, Nello Corporation, located at 1201 Sheridan <br />Street, South Bend. <br />The specifications listed define the requirements for the aforementioned equipment. <br />EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS <br />✓A. The supplier shall have a minimum of two (2) prior successful installations of an <br />automated welding system. Proof of these installations must be submitted with the bid <br />package. <br />VB. System is designed to gas metal arc weld steel self-supporting tower legs ranging from 2 <br />inch diameter to 20 inch diameter. <br />f C. Quantity of two (2) through arm configuration robotic 6-axis arms having 12 kg payload, <br />122.0 inch reach, controller, 440 volt 3-phase electric and closed circuit cooling system <br />with flow sensing switch for water cooled welding torches. <br />JD. Quantity of two (2) weld power units with built-in wire feeder control. Automatic adjusting <br />input power while maintaining a constant welding output throughout entire input voltage. <br />Production monitoring software to track equipment usage, fault limits and process <br />improvement. Auxiliary power surge blocker to maintain weld performance during <br />simultaneous use of grinder and other devices requiring starting current over 60 amps. <br />Input voltage range 208/230/380-415/460/575/1/3/50/60. Output range 5-550 amps. <br />/E. Quantity of two (2) weld wire feeders with drive roll and guide tube kit for feeding .045" <br />solid wire. <br />VF. Quantity of two (2) automatic wire feeders for solid wire size range 0.023-0.0625 inch <br />(one (1) wire feeder for each robotic arm) <br />/Quantity of two (2) welding torch wire brakes <br />
