TO MAYFLOWER ROAD <br />The following proposal was submitted to the engineering department by I & M <br />and was approved by the Board: <br />L. W. E. to Lafayette; replacement of 42-15,000 incandescent with 42 - 20,000 <br />lumen mercury vapor <br />Lafayette to Arnold; improved at an earlier date and has existing 20,000 mercury <br />vapor system. <br />Arnold to Lombardy; replacement of 41 variously sized incandescent lumens <br />with 80 201000 lumen mercury vapor <br />Lombardy to Mayflower; replacement of 5 variously sized incandescent lumens <br />with 11 - 7,000 lumen mercury vapor with 1 - 20,000 <br />lumen mercury-vapor at corner of Mayflower & Sample <br />RECCiv MDATION OF CITY ENGINEER RE: WESTERN AVE BETWEEN GLADSTONE & MAYFLOWER <br />The following proposal was submitted to the engineering department by -1 & M Elec. <br />and was approved by the Board: <br />Replacement of 13 variously sized incandescents with 20 - 20,000 lumen mercury <br />vapor system. <br />RECOMMENDATION OF CITY ENGINEER RE: AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL, PHASE II <br />The following proposal was submitted to the engineering department by I & M Elec. <br />and was approved by the Board: <br />Installation of 12 - 71000 lumen mercury vapor lumenaires. This system will <br />match the system of Phase I. <br />REMOVAL OF THREE PARKING METERS 100 BLOCK E. WAYNE STREET <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried; the Board approved the <br />recommendation of the Traffic Engineer for the removal of three parking meters on <br />Jhe north side of the 100 block of E. Wayne Street due to the need for an addi#6nal <br />lane for right turning vehicles. This curb space will then be posted "NO PARKING" <br />"NO PAMING" -, 100 BLOCK W. SAMPLE STREET <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the <br />recommendation of the Traffic Engineer for the posting of 'no parking' signs on <br />the north side of street in 1st 2 block west.of Michigan St. on Sample Street. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street light outage reports for the period 12/5/68 to 12/13/68 were filed. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned <br />at 11:35 A.M. <br />
