routed west in the 100 block W. Marion Street to the inter- <br />section of the 400 block N. Main Street and thence south <br />on Main Street to the presently authorized U.S.#31 and U.S. <br />#33 truck route. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this additional two <br />blocks of truck route be maintained by the City of South <br />Bend. <br />s/ Arthur W. Taylor, City Engineer <br />s/ James Bickel, City Controller <br />Date: October 7, 1968." <br />And the Clerk is directed to send a copy of said Resolution to the <br />Police Department and to the Traffic Engineer. <br />PETITION FOR STREET SIGNS APPROVED - 'MAD I SON-tAAR I ON AREA <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the recommendation <br />of the Traffic Engineering Department for the installation of the following <br />street signs: <br />Prohibiting trucks at: Lincolnway West and Leland <br />Madison and William <br />Madison and Lafayette <br />Marion and Main <br />Marion and William <br />Street narrow sign at: Leland at the approach to Madison. <br />STREET LIGHT PETITION FILED - BETWEEN ELWOOD AND BULLA <br />Petition for street light between Elwood and Bulla by E. H. Hogue, 1514 Wilber <br />Street, South Bend, and 18 others is filed with the Board and referred to the <br />Traffic Engineer for investigation and recommendation. <br />REQUEST FOR STREET LIGHT - TWYCKENHAM LONGELLLOW AND SOUTH STREETS <br />A request for street light at the intersection of Twyckenham, Longf6jjow,`i <br />and South Streets is filed with the Board, and, upon the recommendation of <br />the.Traffic Engineering Department, upon motion made, seconded and <br />unanimously carried, is denied. <br />STREET SIGNS APPROVED <br />Upon the recommendation of the Traffic Engineering Department, upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, installation of the following street signs was <br />approved: <br />Four NO PARKING - PASSENGER LOADINS ZONE signs, with time limits 7-9 and <br />2-3, in front of 2421-2425 S. Michigan Street. <br />30 MILE SPEED LIMIT signs on E. Donmoyer, one on the south side of <br />Donmoyer, in front of the Church of Christ, 700 block; the second on <br />the northeast corner of Donmoyer and High Street. <br />1 HOUR TIME LIMIT in front of 1206 Mishawaka Avenue. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS for the period 9/26/68 to 10/4/68 received and filed. <br />There being no further bt_isiness to come before the oar , the meetin -burned <br />at 1 1 :15 A.M. �% - g_1 - <br />�.. . <br />.. - - <br />.�1 <br />
